Grade/Pay Range: NJC 12-19

Salary FTE £22,183 - £25,481

 

 Bulwell St. Mary’s C of E Primary and Nursery School has a fantastic opportunity to appoint an experienced and knowledgeable Site Manager to join our collaborative team as soon as possible.

The successful candidate will have previous premises management experience, taking full responsibility for the care and maintenance of the premises. You will be a key player in ensuring the high standards of compliance are maintained and that facilities are safe and fit for purpose. You will work closely with the Headteacher to ensure that the internal and external environment is conducive to the promotion of learning. A knowledge of Health and Safety is essential to this role as well as being able to communicate effectively.

The post is full time all year round, working 37 hours per week initially on a split shift basis 6:00am–10:00am and 2:30pm-6:00pm (5.30pm on Fridays). This is subject to change with consultation.

EYFS and KS1 Lead

Bulwell St. Mary’s C of E Primary and Nursery School are seeking to appoint an excellent early years practitioner to the role of Early Years Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 Leader from September 2021. The successful applicant will be at the heart of our EYFS/Key Stage 1 team, taking a key role in the continued development of provision and practice across both key stages. We want to recruit people who are passionate about making a difference to children and want to challenge themselves to keep on improving.  Our working relationships are positive, supportive and forward looking.

Alongside the head teacher and senior leadership team, we believe a significant impact can be achieved for our school with the right vision, motivation and skill of an early years teacher who has a passion for enabling children to achieve.

Our new EYFS and KS1 Lead will:

 

  • Undertake a class-based role (initially in F2), with non-contact time provided to allow leadership responsibilities to be fulfilled, in addition to PPA.

  • Be part of the Senior leadership Team - participating in the strategic leadership and management of the school

  • Be a Phase Leader responsible for the quality of teaching and learning across the phases they lead,

  • Have the ability to identify and deliver outstanding teaching.

  • Be a collaborative and inspirational leader, with a strong ability to motivate and empower staff and children to achieve their full potential.

  • Care passionately about children and their development whilst still driving forward pupil progress and achievement.

  • Have a commitment to inclusive education and a genuine desire to work co-operatively with parents, key school staff and other professionals

  • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to build on and maintain strong relationships with staff, parents and carers, children, governors and the local and wider community.

  • Have the ability to lead on further improving teaching and learning and developing the wider curriculum, including a core subject.
